About

Join Kjelti Anderson for a wander down what may be a familiar path to you, for an opportunity to open your eyes to the world of medicinal plants growing all around. Plants can be our greatest allies for healing if we take the time to respect the medicine they offer. Come learn about how to connect with, identify, ethically harvest and prepare common boreal herbs for our own health.

At 1:30pm, join Kjelti for a discussion-style workshop on some of the amazing plants that can become allies for the woman's journey through life, love and healing. Learn about how to effectively gather, prepare and use herbs to assist with your moontime, hormones, sleep, emotional regulation and energy!

Organizer

Flin Flon Arts Council and Kjelti Anderson

Kjelti moves with a profound sense of belonging to this world - with intrinsic affinity to the serene song of the meadowlark or the harrowed howl of the wolf, she too seeks to resound. Like the unending cascade of water over smooth stone, her voice echoes in the living litany ringing through the forest as an ode to the unfolding of all creation within us. She cultivates a passionate relationship with Mother Earth as a permaculture educator, herbalist and artist - creatively resist the resignation that humanity's fate is ultimately one of dominance and depletion.
