About

Founders of 100 THOUSAND POETS FOR CHANGE suggest that each year a section entitled READ A POEM TO A CHILD should be available. This year we are planning a short section of poetry for children in the garden.

Children, even the very young are encouraged to attend to listen to short poems, both rhyming and, funny and serious, and to take a printed copy home with them should they want to read the poem again.

The presentation will be very informal,. We ask participants to bring a cushion or blanket on which to sit in the garden, beneath a tree, beside a sculpture or wherever they choose. Summer cookies and juice will be available after the readings.
