About
An afternoon of bellydance and chocolate await you at Chocolatier Constance Popp! Join Beth and Rivka as they enchant you with the music and dance of Egypt, hear classic and modern Arabic music, learn how to play the zills (finger cymbals) and maybe even learn a few dance steps from the land of the pyramids. All this and chocolate tasting too from Winnipeg’s premier chocolatier!
If the weather is fine we will be performing and teaching outdoors, 2m physical distancing will apply, if cool we will be indoors and masks will be mandatory.
Organizer
Beth Syrnyk (Au Set Bellydance)
Beth Syrnyk took her first bellydance class over 20 years ago and fell in love with the art form. The dance comes from a land and a culture and Beth feels it is important to help her students and the public understand the history and art that has created this most intriguing dance. In 2006 she opened Au Set Bellydance and for 7 years taught over 20 classes a week. Although the studio is closed Beth takes every opportunity to teach and perform at venues throughout Canada.
