About

Richmond Improv Theatre Society is excited to offer our "Try Improv Series," where people can come and enjoy a couple of open classes and try some improv games. Admission is by free/pay-what-you-may donation. You can meet some of our instructors and have a night of laughs and fun.

These sessions are aimed at new improvisers who have never tried improv before and those who would like to get to know our growing community here in Richmond. It's the perfect place to hang out, meet new people, and escape from the craziness of the world.

These classes take place at Thompson Community Centre from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Hope to see you there!

Organizer

Richmond Improv Theatre Society

Richmond Improv Theatre Society is a non-profit organization that brings improv theatre to the City of Richmond by providing classes and performance opportunities. We work with the city of Richmond to help bring this art to the community, generously supported by the Arts and Culture project grant provided by the City of Richmond.

We believe that improv theatre is for everyone, so we are committed to our new slogan, "Share The Stage." We provide low-barrier, accessible theatre for anyone who would like to participate. With the help of city programming, we offer the lowest-cost improv classes in the Lower Mainland, as well as multiple shows per year for the community. We also provide drop-in classes for our members as an ongoing commitment to build and foster our growing community.
