The Mane Event is a community arts series that speaks to the importance of hair in Black culture, recognizing hair as art and an expression of identity.

Join us this Sunday, October 9, 12-3PM at 529 Oakwood Avenue for The Mane Event: Mural Unveiling Celebration!

Explore the final culminating permanent public art mural, Our Crowns, led by Curtia Wright and join us in celebrating with art-making activities, barber demos, light refreshments, and surprise giveaways.
