People naturally possess the desire to commune so, as we begin to gather [again], Corrine is eager to share her personal explorations into re-imagining her Kwakwaka'wakw/Tlingit culture heritage.

Coastal Peoples Fine Arts Gallery
Coastal Peoples Gallery has brought insight to a global audience and shed light on the art and cultural diversity of Canada’s First Nations, Plains and Inuit peoples. Established in 1996, the Gallery welcomes everyone to experience a superb collection of the finest artists and their work. By supporting these Indigenous artists who are native to these regions, it allows them to thrive and the culture to remain alive.
For centuries, First Nations peoples have flourished along the Pacific North West Coast of Canada and the Northern Arctic, living amongst spectacular sweeping landscapes and mountainous regions. Emerging from this abundant land of natural beauty is a diverse group of artists who captivate us with their mythic stories and culturally expressive art works.
The Gallery’s collection encompasses both the traditional and contemporary, and speaks to the deeply rooted oral traditions of those who handcraft these magnificent creations.
Celebrating over 25 years of excellence, Coastal Peoples has become renowned for its museum-quality works which entice inquisitive newcomers as well as seasoned collectors to delve further into this fascinating and legendary art form. The Gallery represents master artisans and has earned a reputation for discovering a new generation of gifted talent who create beyond the boundaries of the traditional.
We offer our gratitude to these accomplished artists who have dedicated themselves to their art and thank them for their passion, creativity and sense of pride.
With respect, we acknowledge the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and səl’il’wətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh) as well as all the Pacific Northwest Coast Indigenous peoples on whose traditional and unceded territories we live, work and play.
