First Fridays in the Exchange Inc.
First Fridays in the Exchange Inc. is an independent, non-profit, membership-based organization. We coordinate a once-a-month, year-round, arts-focused event called FIRST FRIDAYS in the EXCHANGE.
On the 1st Friday of every month in Winnipeg's Exchange District, Art Galleries, Artist-Run Centres, Artists' Studios, Museums + Shops stay open late to welcome the public.
Visitors chat with artists in their studios, experience an Art Gallery opening or craft exhibit, attend Art Talks, films and performances & are encouraged to explore the area's unique shops.
First Fridays in the Exchange is dedicated to bringing together artists, artist run centres, galleries, businesses & the public for a greater understanding, appreciation & promotion of the arts & the further development of a vital Exchange Area community.
