About
Did you know that people have been weaving in Greater Sudbury for over 100 years?! Join this long-standing tradition, but with a modern twist and an emphasis on sustainability - be a part of the Greater Sudbury Museums Community Weaving Project! Pick up your free weaving kit of plastic mesh and recycled fabric at any Greater Sudbury Public Library branch starting October 1st. Complete the mini weaving square and return it to the library by October 29th. We will be joining the squares together to decorate the Anderson Farm Museum - a site that celebrates local Finnish-Canadian culture, history, and of course, weaving!! For more information, visit the Greater Sudbury Museums Facebook page or email [email protected].
