About

Built in 1906 for the Grand Trunk Railway, the station has many stylistic features characteristic of that decade and rare Canadian railway artifacts.

ACTIVITY: Tours, diorama

Doors Open Burlington takes place on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit heritage sites, noteworthy buildings, and interesting locations - free of charge. Many of these buildings and locations will offer special activities during the day. For Burlington, Doors Open provides a unique opportunity to view the city from a new perspective and celebrate the cultural importance of the sites to the community. Other sites include: Archaeological Services Inc. (ASI), Burlington Camera and Digital, Burlington Public Library - Central Branch, Burlington Radio Control Modelers, Église Saint-Philippe, Halton Mosque, Joseph Brant Museum, Nickel Brook Brewing Co., NUVO Network, Royal Botanical Gardens, Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant, and St. Paul's Presbyterian Church.
