India: How to Make Kulfi Falooda

About

​Kulfi Falooda is a refreshing dessert. “Falooda” looks like rice noodles and they are made with cornstarch or arrowroot. “Kulfi” is an Indian ice cream. This is a delicacy with street vendors all over India. You can also serve Falooda with any ice cream of your choice.

+INGREDIENTS+

-2 scoops of Kulfi (icecream)

-¾ cup of Falooda noodles

-2-4 tbsp of rose syrup

-6-8 pistachios, chopped (cashew nuts or almonds can also be used)

-Option: ½ tsp sabja, soaked in 1/3 cup water (add bloomed sabja seeds to bottom of bowl)

+PREPARATION+

Step 1-

In a serving bowl or plate, add 2 scoops of kulfi 

Step 2-

Place Falooda noodles over the kulfi 

Step 3-

Top Falooda noodles with rose syrup and garnish with preferred nuts (traditionally pistachio)

Step 4-

Enjoy!
