About

Start your evening with a stroll through the apple orchards on the Anderson's farm, then gather after sunset for a night of observing the planets and celestial objects. Stay warm & cozy beside the bonfire, as you learn more about apples & astronomy.

Apple Tours will be available by Jean Anderson. She will be demonstrating how to make a baked apple and baked apples and ice cream will be offered!

Stargazing will be organized by Gordon Duff who has had a life long interest in astronomy. He will give a Sky Tour and pass along information concerning the night sky and backyard observing.

Spend the evening by the campfire, enjoying your treats, and hey, if you know how to play guitar, feel free to bring it along and play some tunes for the crowd!

Gordon Duff, astronomy enthusiast, "wears many hats" and can be spotted in various roles within the Town of Minto and beyond, from treasurer for the Town of Minto, to member of the Minto Cultural Roundtable, Minto Arts Council, and Culture Days Minto committee.
