Step into a garden of hand crafted floral lanterns in the East Exchange. Enjoy a variety of woodland creatures (puppets) operated by Allison Doyle, and try your own hand at creating a puppet spectacle at Nuit Blanche.

Alyson Doyle

Alyson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Creative Expression and Society from the University of Toronto. She graduated with an MFA in Drama from the University of Connecticut in 2024. This summer she is facilitating a community workshop in Toy Theatre at Brandon University, a "Creature Creation" art camp at the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba, and She . Inspired by the early, activist work of Bread and Puppet theatre, she specializes in large scale street puppetry. Alyson has made it an artistic mandate to organize puppetry workshops for underserved communities. She believes that community art projects offer insight in the creation of a brighter world for a greater number of people.
