Calling all poets! Fellowship Christian Reformed Church and Neilson Park Creative Centre proudly present open mic poetry sessions. Join us for our first open mic featuring guest poet, Honey Novick. Bring your own verse to share! All ages welcome. This is an indoor event.

HONEY NOVICK is a singer/songwriter/voice teacher/ poet as well as being the 2010 Bobbi Nahwehgabow Memorial Award winner for her work as a music consultant and participant in the Friendly Spike Theatre Band's production of the "The Dega and the Delbasid". She is the song facilitator for Sheena's Place and is private tutor to quadriplegic singer, Raquelle Neto. She had the privilege of composing the melody to the anthem for the UN Day for People Living With a Disability. She will be performing with Bill Bissett on his sound/opera "Embrace". She directs the Creative Vocalization Studio.

With four dedicated studio spaces, two galleries and administrative/support spaces, NPCC continues to respond to the needs of its members and supporters on the western edge of Toronto.
