Annie, a ten-year-old prodigy, discovered her passion for the cucurbit flute during a visit to her relatives in China with her parents in 2020. This encounter marked the beginning of a profound journey with this unique instrument. Over the course of a year, Annie dedicated herself to mastering the cucurbit flute under the guidance of a skilled teacher. Her relentless pursuit of excellence led her to achieve an extraordinary feat - securing the gold medal at the prestigious 2021 Cucurbit Flute and Bau National Invitational Competition. With a heart full of dedication and a talent that knows no bounds, Annie continues to enchant audiences with her captivating cucurbit flute melodies.
This performance is a part of the Chinese Association Cultural Hour.
