About
The event is a celebration of culture and diversity in our community. There will be live music, singing, and dancing as well as Henna tattooing, storyboards, and displays of cultural art and fashion. The event will be outdoors, weather permitting, or inside YWCA Wesley if it is raining or extremely windy. Cultural food items will be available to purchase for lunch. The lunch options are 1 pop with 2 empanadas (beef or cheese available) for $12 or 1 pop with 1 chicken shawarma for $12. Food can be purchased to stay or to go and payment can be made using cash or etransfer. Orders for dine in or pick up can be placed in advance by calling/texting 306.930.5277. Advance orders for food are preferred but not required. Some art/crafts made by newcomers will also be available for purchase at the event. There is no entry fee and coffee, tea, & water will be available for free to all attendees (cream, sugar, etc. also be provided). We hope to see you there :)
