About
A creative exploration of place, memory, and poetic expression.
How does a place speak—and what does it say to you?
In this two-hour workshop, participants will dive into the layered histories and landscapes of Mission City, BC, uncovering how personal and collective experiences can be distilled into powerful epigrams—short, poetic phrases that carry deep resonance.
Through reflective writing and guided creative exercises, these epigrams will be transformed into striking word art pieces that bridge language, memory, and visual storytelling on a banner you can display in a significant place.
Our facilitator will be in touch the week prior to the program start date to see if you have any support needs or if prior experience should be considered in the lesson. Please cancel if you cannot attend to allow for others on the waitlist the opportunity to join.
