About

Site-specific installation by Wiarton based artist Ann Marie Hadcock. Hadcock draws, paints, and sculpts using fibre, wire, and other materials. Her work responds to and takes inspiration from the physical environment where it is placed. Forcing us to notice, to look a little harder, and changing our perceptions of both the material she uses and the space it inhabits. Hadcock adheres to an eco-centric approach in all her work. The temporality in her work is a vital and important part of her creative process, as she creates work to inhabit spaces for short periods, to be removed without a trace and living only in the memories and experience of those fortunate to encounter it and through the photographic documentation she creates.
