About

Hapnot Collegiate is excited to bring Indigenous music powerhouse, Chubby Cree to Flin Flon during Culture Days to inspire us with drumming, dance and song.

Steeped in traditional music and culture, Chubby Cree is an Indigenous hand drum group. Featuring twelve-year-old Noah Green, a prodigy with a larger-than-life voice, and his grandmother, Carol Powder. Joining the duo on Centre Stage for this powerful performance will be drummers and dancers, and Surrey audiences can expect to be wowed by this authentic Cree performance.

Chubby Cree is on a mission to use their gift of traditional Indigenous music and song as a way to heal and unite people from all walks of life. The group's formidable performances often bring audience members to tears…including tears of joy. Expect to enjoy an uplifting and inspiring evening that you are certain to remember for a long time to come.
