I've been playing music since early childhood when I took classical music lessons. However I didn't really get into it until I discovered how to play by ear. The first time i remember using my ear to decipher a piece was when I was seven. I was into the movie series "Pirates of the Caribbean" and was enamored by the soundtrack. One song in particular stood out: "Davy Jones", which I learned by ear and performed.

I play many different instruments with a varying degree of success. Some of my favorites are Ukulele, Jaw harp, Ocarina (ancient wind musical instrument), and the Cajon (percussion instrument). However, I prefer the piano over these. There is something about the infinite harmonic possibilities that most of my other instruments just can’t offer. It is beautiful both solo and accompanied by others which makes it very versatile.
