About

Join us as we celebrate the launch of the publication, Landscapes of Conveyance: a full-colour catalogue of Peer Christensen’s exhibition of the same name.

“Peer Christensen has been found exploring rail yards and factories searching for inspiration. What a delight that, when after meeting Duncan Jackman, Chair of the Board of Algoma Central Corporation, he was invited to visit the Port Weller Drydocks and later to board the Algoma Harvester on a five-day journey as it shuttled cargo along the St. Lawrence Seaway. This trip, as an artist and tourist immersed in a non-public space of industry, provided Peer with a new vantage point.” (excerpt from “Landscapes of Conveyance.”)

In this talk, Peer Christensen and John Wadland, will explore exhibition themes in a conversation moderated by Spencer J. Harrison.

Catalogues will be available to purchase on the day of the event.

This event is free to attend and all are welcome.
