Sault Ste. Marie, ON

Offered in English.

Come visit the Art Gallery of Algoma and take your selfie with our Algoma Reimagined Colouring Boards!

The Algoma Landscape was and continues to be an inspiration for many artists in the past and today including well-known Group of Seven. To celebrate and reimagine that landscape we invited the public to be a part of a community art project and their mark to the Algoma Reimagined colouring boards during the 2021 Ontario Culture Days Festival.

Now the boards are completed and we want you to come check them out and take your photo with these fun and colourful murals!

If you post your selfies on social media don't forget to use the hashtag #AlgomaReimaginedAGA !

The Art Gallery of Algoma is a part of the Ontario Culture Days Regional Hub Program.

Art Gallery of Algoma

The AGA was founded as a non-profit public art gallery and incorporated on July 7, 1975. Established by a group of dedicated volunteers and art enthusiasts, the AGA honours its roots as a community organization with its mission of celebrating culture, educating visitors, and enriching lives through the visual arts. The AGA’s vision is to be a premier visual arts institution in northern Ontario, gaining national recognition and international partnerships. With the appointment of Director Jasmina Jovanovic in August 2011, the AGA looks forward to the next phase in its evolution: establishing and implementing exciting new initiatives, becoming more involved in the national contemporary art scene, and continuing to uphold its multifaceted mandate.
