About
Join Coquitlam Public Library in our first Indigenous Film Festival. This will be held over 2 days - Wednesday, September 27th and Friday, September 29th. We will be showing short films, documentaries and feature length films which will cover Indigenous culture, history and experiences.
On Wednesday, September 27th from 2pm to 5:30pm, we will be showing multiple films and documentaries. There will be short intermissions in between films.
On Wednesday, September 27th from 6:30 to 8, we will have a feature length film and question and answer period by someone who works in the film industry.
The films featured on Wednesday are aimed at audiences aged 14 and up. Both events are only at the City Centre Library.
On Friday, September 29th from 12pm to 4:30pm, we will be showing multiple films and documentaries. There will be short intermissions in between films. The same films will be shown at both Poirier and City Centre Libraries.
Please note that some films cover sensitive topics. All ages welcome but viewer discretion is advised.
