About

A warm welcome to Free Style Chinese Painting Show

This online exhibition has provided a great opportunity for the youngsters, or more correctly 'Emerging Artists', to show the viewers and share their understanding of Chinese culture through the displayed works here created by their own brush strokes. It is amazing to find how each individual can make the same subject look so different and in such unique way. That's right, it is the very original idea of 'Free Style Chinese painting'.

I am delighted and proud to see their beautiful works demonstrate in this art activity.

Organizer

Ming Yeung

Ming Yeung is a multidisciplinary artist. She has been teaching Chinese painting and promoting her Art of Freestyle - Flower and Bird watercolor Chinese painting on rice paper in this country since 2002. Ming has an unwavering commitment to offer a variety of art classes to students of all ages, ranging from parent and tot, children, adult, and senior since 2015. She is fully devoted to the innovative field of arts as one of her ways to enhance the community with a wide range of colors. Her art programs have been creating a spiritual connection with the community. She believes that art is important for both children and adults. Children learn about themselves and others through art activities and adventure. Art is especially important in helping children build their self-esteem. She has a mission to her students as an art educator. She hopes that her art classes are able to improve their creativity skills, give them joy, relieve their stress through art creation, give them the opportunity to showcase their talent, give them confidence, help them do well academically, help them to express their emotions and help them learn visually. Art is a special language that can help students connect and communicate with other people.
