About

The Deep Roots Music Festival will present a Harmony Workshop featuring two recent graduates of the Acadia University School of Music, Music Therapy Program - Sarah McInnis and Rebecca Fairless. They will be joined by 2 current students of the program and will deliver a session during which audience members will be invited to sing along and experience the power of music to support mental well-being. Come join them and sing along!

The mandate of Deep Roots is: "To create meaningful connections between cultures, community groups, artists, and audiences by offering music-related events, programs, and an annual festival". Besides the annual Festival held the last week of September, Deep Roots also offers numerous concerts throughout the year, including a series of free summer concerts presented in partnership with the Town of Wolfville.
