About
The "Rise Up Singing" event takes place at 10:00 AM on the Sunday morning of the Deep Roots Music Festival weekend. It is a chance to come together with a number of the Festival performers for some uplifting community singing. This free event is for those who like to sing along, but also for those who just like to listen.

The mandate of Deep Roots is: "To create meaningful connections between cultures, community groups, artists, and audiences by offering music-related events, programs, and an annual festival". Besides the annual Festival held the last week of September, Deep Roots also offers numerous concerts throughout the year, including a series of free summer concerts presented in partnership with the Town of Wolfville.
