About
Celebrate the culmination of our Culture Days series with an evening of art, music, and community storytelling. What We Carry brings together a gallery exhibition of works from our workshops, a warm and welcoming open mic, and performances by Angelica Candido (poetry) and Megan Romano (music). We'll be delving into the stories that make up each individual, the things they carry in their heart and minds that shape who they are.
This is more than an event — it’s a space for truth-telling and connection. Past open mics have been places where vulnerability is met with compassion, where stories of loss, resilience, and hope are shared without judgment. You’ll leave carrying something new — an idea, a feeling, a spark.
To sign up for the open mic, complete this registration form with your information and performance piece: Link.
