About
Hi, I’m a 19-year-old architecture student at the University of Manitoba, and I run A-COLLECTIVE SOCIETY, my side business focusing on avant-garde streetwear. My brand is all about creating 1-of-1 sustainable pieces that treat fashion as more than just clothing—it’s art, and each garment tells a story.
At this pop-up event, I’ll be showcasing my latest collection, "Resonance." You’ll get to see how I take my love for architecture and mix it with streetwear, experimenting with structure and form. Every piece is crafted with sustainability in mind, using eco-friendly materials and upcycled elements. I’ll also be doing some live demonstrations where I show how I customize garments to make sure no two items are alike.
For me, what’s really special is how my brand allows me to explore fashion as a form of self-expression. Each design is unique—just like the person wearing it—and I hope that when people see my work, they’ll feel inspired to express themselves in their own way too.
I’m not asking for anything in terms of admission, I just want people to come out, experience the designs, and hopefully walk away with a fresh perspective on what fashion as art can be. It’s more than just clothing—it’s about making a statement.

Jeevan Jain
My name is Jeevan Jain, and I’m a 19-year-old fashion designer and architecture student at the University of Manitoba. I run A-COLLECTIVE SOCIETY, an avant-garde streetwear brand that I started as a side project. My vision for the brand is to blur the line between fashion and art, using sustainable, one-of-a-kind pieces to challenge conventional streetwear and express individuality. Every garment I create is not just clothing, but a statement—a fusion of architectural design and fashion, with a strong focus on eco-consciousness.
Last year, I attended and hosted my first pop-up for Nuit Blanche, and it was an amazing experience. It gave me the chance to see how much creativity and innovation happens within our local community. Seeing other designers and artists express their visions inspired me to push my own brand even further, and now I’m excited to share what I’ve been working on.
Throughout the year, I focus on expanding A-COLLECTIVE SOCIETY by experimenting with new materials, sketching designs, and crafting every piece by hand. I’m always thinking about how to incorporate sustainability into my designs, whether that’s through upcycling or using eco-friendly fabrics. Beyond the creative process, I’m also committed to building a community around fashion as art—engaging with people who appreciate bold, unique designs that don’t follow trends but make a statement.
This event is a way for me to showcase my brand’s vision and connect with others who share a love for innovative, sustainable fashion. A-COLLECTIVE SOCIETY is about more than just clothing—it’s about creating a movement that values originality and environmental responsibility.
