About

Come enjoy a Culture Days performance by the Georgetown Pipeband, followed by a Question and Answer session with our talented pipers and drummers. The Georgetown Pipeband has been promoting Scottish culture and music by teaching new pipers and drummers for the past 81 years. You will have a chance to see how the bagpipes work, try playing a snare, tenor or bass drum and learn about our lesson program for ages 10 and over.

Organizer

Georgetown Pipeband

The Georgetown Pipeband has taught bagpipe and drum lessons for the past 81 years in Georgetown Ontario. We perform at parades, events, and compete in Highland games throughout the province and twice at the world championships in Scotland.

We continue our program of teaching future pipers and drummers to keep this traditional Scottish music alive for everyone to experience and enjoy.
