About
Tina Clacy, a passionate artist hailing from Milton, Ontario, invites art enthusiasts on an immersive studio tour that unveils her remarkable artistic journey. With a lifelong love for art, Tina's creative journey began with serene sketching sessions amidst her travels. Upon retiring from teaching, she embarked on a new chapter, delving into the world of painting.
Inspired by a 1950s Japanese art movement, Tina's artistry took a playful, spontaneous, and intuitive turn. Her approach shifted towards painting what resided within her heart and mind rather than what met her eyes. Through the guidance of talented instructors, she honed her skills, cultivating a unique free-style manner in her home studio.
Tina's preferred medium is acrylics, which grace canvas, paper, or hardboard. She also explores watercolours and other diverse media. Her recent works oscillate between vibrant, abstract compositions and softer, impressionistic scenes. Tina's art has graced exhibitions in Milton, Hamilton, Toronto, and the Niagara Region, allowing her distinctive style to captivate audiences across various locales.
