About

On October 12th, Heritage Abbotsford will be launching our new virtual exhibit, "Labour History in Abbotsford: Working on Stó:lō Temexw"! This exhibit connects the various communities and their roles in local labour history though time. Indigenous communities, followed by subsequent settler groups, each play a role in the labour which built the Abbotsford we know today. This cultural mosaic, while not unique to the Abbotsford region, is a great case study showcasing the diversity of Canadian labour history and is meant to serve as an addition to Heritage Abbotsford’s award-winning permanent exhibit "The River People and the Land: Living within S’olh Temexw".

Please watch our social media and this space for access information once the exhibit goes live.
