About

Crochet Your Culture at Parkland Regional Library during Culture Days 2023. Crochet poppies for a Remembrance Day fibre art mosaic and/or crochet a flag representing your cultural heritage to be displayed along with other local crochet flags in the library.

This project is beginner friendly & everyone in the community is welcome to participate. You can stop by the library to work on the project or there are grab-and-go kits available to take home. All supplies are provided and it is free to participate. We know that there are plenty of crocheters in the community, let’s see what we can create together!

Organizer

Parkland Regional Library Norquay, Norquay Library’s Casual Crochet Club

Parkland Regional Library Norquay Branch is a public library committed to providing access to information, reading materials and computer/wifi access. We promote literacy, arts and culture and ensure that all are welcome to enjoy the benefits the library has to offer our community.

In 2023 Norquay Library started a Casual Crochet Club. “Casual” meaning: no cost, no commitment, all levels of experience and drop ins welcome. Yarn and crochet hooks have been kindly donated so any one can stop in each Thursday 3:30pm-5pm to try their hand at crochet.
