About

Calling all nature lovers and protectors in Halton Hills! It's time for us to meet up, share ideas and collaborate.

We hope you can join us for the first bi-annual Halton Hills Nature Community Meet Up!

We will meet each Spring and Fall to build and deepen relationships, share what we're up to and collaborate on initiatives that celebrate, protect, enhance and restore nature in Halton Hills.

Who can be part of this?

Anyone who cares about nature in Halton Hills and has a desire to take action and connect with others who feel the same.

Artists, ecologists, teachers, young people, old people, experts, non experts. There is a place for all of us.

Agenda:

1:00-1:15 Opening and Introductions - Chantal Garneau, co-founder of Halton Hills Nature

1:15 - 1:30 Community Spotlight - learn about our local EcoFilm Fest, discover what Turtle Guardians are up to, and find out how Halton Hills became a Bird Friendly City

1:30 - 2:45 Guided Group Discussion - an opportunity to share and listen to each other in small groups (groups will rotate so we have a chance meet everyone)

2:45 - 3:00 Opportunities and Closing

If you have any questions please reach out to Chantal Garneau at [email protected] or (905) 783-8853
