About
Come help us paint a mural!
Parks Canada invites you to visit us at The Forks and paint a mural showcasing Manitoba's largest national park - Wapusk. This subarctic park protects one of the largest polar bear maternity denning areas in the world and is home to others animals such as belugas, arctic foxes, caribou, wolverines and seals. This park is one of only two national parks in Manitoba, located on the western shores of Hudson Bay.
Just like a really large colouring book, all are welcome to join us in creating a mural using projected images of Wapusk National Park. We will start with painting the tundra and move on, adding layer by layer while learning about and painting the ecosystem, animals and landscape of Manitoba's majestic Hudson Bay lowlands ecosystem.
Never go home empty handed — buttons will be given to all painters!
