About

Artist and celebrated puppet maker, Clelia Scala, is designing a whimsical and illuminated Wizard of Oz themed costume and puppet parade to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Vintage Film Festival. All are welcome to come dressed in your own costume.

You will have two opportunities to sign up for an accessory-making workshop led by Clelia, where you will be able to create your own accessories for the parade - poppies on sticks, wands, crowns, ruby slippers on sticks, glowing Emerald City hats, etc.

All ages and abilities are welcome to participate in the workshops.

The Wizard of Oz film will be shown on October 20 at The Capitol Theatre, the very same theatre in which it was first shown in 1939.
