About

Elders will erect a tipi in a traditional tipi ceremony. There are fifteen traditional indigenous peoples' cultural values that serve as a guide for happy and healthy living. Each value is honored in the construction of a tipi which requires 15 poles, with each pole symbolizing one value. Values such as respect, faith, kinship, and more.
