About

Join fiber artist Cathy Disbrow of Woolly Doodles to learn how to needle felt a Pansy flower that you can turn into a brooch, magnet, clip, or to embellish a wool sweater, scarf or hat. To needle felt along with this tutorial, you need: a felting needle, a felting surface, 4 - 5 grams of wool in the colors for your Pansy. All supplies are explained in the beginning of this video. This is a fun project for all levels.

Contact Cathy if you need a supply pack. You can purchase a mini kit to make 2 - 3 pansies or a full supply pack that makes 7 - 8 pansies.

Woolly Doodles

Woolly Doodles owner Cathy Disbrow is a fibre artist and instructor who creates unique needle felted creations. She sculpts and paints her art by connecting wool fibers: whether it’s stabbing wool with a felting needle OR using hot water and agitation. She loves needle felting sculptures of various critters and creating wool 'paintings' by stabbing wool into a pre-felted sheet. Cathy is a needle felt instructor, offering workshops and classes in the GTHA and beyond.

Cathy's been an artist her entire life working in craft, digital art, and hand drawn illustrations. She loves needle felting so much that she started to teach it in 2016. She enjoys spreading the love of needle felting through DIY felting kits and in-person & online workshops.
