About
Temporal Images
Come and meet your neighbours by helping to put together a large out-door installation from locally sourced oyster shells. Bring shells; spend an hour laying them down or use what we have here to create this 3 dimensional installation. The original drawing of an Octopus will be chalked on to the red brick patio outside of our home then filled with shells to create this image. The inspiration for this work comes from two international artists who make temporary installations from natural materials, Andres Amador and Nils –Udo.
During the three planned weekends in September and October guests will need to observe social distancing requirements of being two meters apart on the site area within the gate. No more than four participants at a time during the posted hours. Please email me ahead of time if you plan to attend a certain time slot and I will let you know if there will be any congestion expected for that time. [email protected]. Considering the event is out doors masks are not necessary but hand sanitizer will be required upon entering. Of course you can wear a mask if you are more comfortable I will be wearing one. This kind of installation is a slow and patient process much like the times we find ourselves in currently. Please let me know if you would like to be part of the Zoom event scheduled for the Saturday October 3rd
