Visit Shannon Lee in the Eco Book Nook where you can relax and read stories that inspire respect and stewardship of the natural world. There will also be an opportunity to make a pine cone bird feeder that you will be able to take home for your local birds.

This activity is part of the Credit Valley Trail "First Steps along the Path" Celebration event. Guests only have to register once for all activities. To register, follow the registration link below.

Shannon Lee is an Environmental Education Youth Coordinator who coordinates the Youth In Action- Credit to New Credit program with Ecosource. Ecosource is an innovative environmental organization specializing in fun, ands-on programs that focus on how each of us can change our daily habits to become better environmental citizens. YIA-CNC is a youth leadership program which is a collaboration between Ecosource and Mississauga of The Credit First Nation Biodiversity Council. Youth in the program take part in 10 workshops with Indigenous Knowledge Keepers and Elders as well being given support to develop their own community environmental Take Action projects.
