About

The Saskatoon Indigenous Poets Society is a collective of diverse Indigenous and ally voices carrying on the tradition of oral storytelling and creating community with good relationships. Curated by ecoaborijanelle, True North will feature works from Nokomos, Poetik, Loud Voice, Axis, Overflo, Lonewolf, and the northern forest. These performances will feature team poems and individual poems that celebrate the north of Saskatchewan and Canada, bringing northern pride, solidarity, and survivance narratives to the Nuit Blanche Saskatoon. Come celebrate and commemorate the north with our talented poets!
