About
Healing Harmonies – Indian Music for Wellbeing
Facilitated by Vrunda Upadhyay, multidisciplinary artist and music educator
Rooted in the ancient wisdom of Indian classical and devotional music, Healing Harmonies is an inclusive, participatory workshop designed to help individuals of all ages explore the soothing and restorative power of sound. Guided by Vrunda Upadhyay—an accomplished vocalist and artist with decades of experience in music, dance, and community arts—participants will journey through gentle ragas, uplifting folk tunes, and soulful bhajans that foster a sense of calm, connection, and inner balance.
With a deep understanding of how sound can nurture the spirit, Vrunda creates a safe and joyful space where no prior musical knowledge is needed. Through breath-led singing, group chants, and interactive rhythm play, participants are invited to experience music not just as performance, but as a form of shared healing and personal expression.
Whether you’re a child, elder, newcomer to Indian music, or someone simply seeking peace through art, this workshop offers a moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect—with yourself and your community.
