DIY original easy-to-make paper puppets using a few simple steps to create a cast of characters for your very own puppet show. See what it's all about with artist Allycia Uccello showing you step-by-step how to make your own original moveable paper puppet. Plus: tips on the best way to make a stage set and backgrounds to put on a show for family and friends. So come join in the fun making your own puppet friends during Milton Culture Days!

Supplies required:

1-2 sheets pf paper, card stock, construction paper - any colour

3 shish kabob sticks or popsicle sticks

1 pencil

Markers, crayons or pencil crayons

Paper fasteners or a 6" piece of string or wool

1 pair of scissors

Glue or tape

Optional:

Paper hole punch (can use a pencil or sharp pointed stick to make holes)

Googly eyes

Sequins, ribbon, jewels, buttons or small pom poms
