About
Author Marion McKinnon Crook will be joining us virtually to discuss her latest book "Always on Call; Adventures in Nursing, Ranching and Rural Living" which continues the story of nursing in the Cariboo Chilcotin begun in the award-winning "Always Pack a Candle". This new volume focuses on the mid 1970s when Marion is married with 3 young children, balancing the demands of ranch life while overseeing a team of nurses in a vast public health district.
Participants are welcome to attend in person. Admission is by donation. Copies of both books will be available for sale. Guests are also welcome to join us virtually. Contact [email protected] to request a zoom link before 4 pm October 9th.
