About
La plume et le pinceau is an improvised creative game that mixes words and drawings and is organized by the Association des auteur·e·s du Manitoba français (AAMF), in collaboration with Les Éditions du Blé, la Maison des artistes visuels francophones, André Granger and Plume. This year, the authors: Estelle-Sarah Bulle (Guadeloupe), Madeleine Blais-Dahlem (Saskatchewan) and Sophie Gareau-Brennan (Alberta) will play with artists Émilie Lemay (Winnipeg), Colette Balcaen (Winnipeg) and Marc Beaudry (Winnipeg).
La plume et le pinceau has four rounds. During each round, the artists are assigned with an author. The game leader picks a theme and two words. The artists then have two minutes to start their drawing, followed by the authors who have two minutes to add in some text. The artists then have one minute to finish their work, followed by the authors who have one minute to finish their texts.
