About
Learn about biodiversity and invasive species from the Willow Park Ecology Centre: We're all in this together! The interactive display will include:
• Nature care for your backyard: Learn to identify native plants and invasive
species. Find out how to remove those pesky invasives and what appropriate
native plants you can use to replace them.
• Our Centre for Biodiversity, Hungry Hollow: learn about our community-based
restoration project for the beautiful Silver Creek ravine, a local nature park, and
find out how you can get involved!
• Interactive and educational crafts and activities relating to sustainability.

Willow Park Ecology Centre
Our ecology centre offers school and community programs and events in a visitor-friendly 5-acre outdoor space. It’s a site we transformed during our first years of operation from a grassy trailer park into a scenic series of diverse ecosystems. It now provides a home to a growing number of native Ontario habitats, plants and animals. We’re open year-round to offer fun, engaging, nature-based programs for children, teens and adult volunteers and learners.
