Organizer
Heritage Abbotsford Society
The Mission of the Heritage Abbotsford Society is to be the memory of the community by preserving and interpreting its history. Functions of this mandate are to preserve, study and exhibit artifacts and archival material, and to educate and entertain the public. Heritage Abbotsford celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2019. The Society has offered heritage programming through artifact- and place centered learning since its inception. I.e. we use artifacts and site features to educate, engage and entertain the public, and to drive home the message of the importance of heritage to a vibrant, inclusive culture.
