About
Welcome to "Road Trip to Mariposa', our outdoor Streets Alive public art display of "Hippie van' sculptures by 27 talented artists! The hippie vans celebrate the 60th anniversary of our Mariposa Folk Festival and all the joy it represents. Our sculptures take you back to the colours, symbols and creativity of the hippie era, as well as its musical talents. Each artist has put an incredible amount of work into their creation so you will enjoy discovering every amazing detail.
For over a decade Streets Alive sculptures have decorated our downtown core. Each year there has been a different theme.
While COVID restrictions are gradually lifting, this virtual tour provides a safe option for those not ready to travel yet. Everyone can enjoy the tour from the comfort of their own living room.
