Night Light Crafts
10am – 3pm, 3rd floor, Rodzik Gallery
Join our artist educators to create light-inspired crafts the whole family can enjoy! Simple, hands-on activities make it fun and easy for even the littlest artists to join in.
Art Activity: DIY LED Necklaces with Hackforge
3pm – 8pm, Education Studio, 2nd floor
Join Hackforge for a hands-on workshop where creativity meets electronics! Learn the basics of simple circuits by connecting LEDs, batteries, and conductive materials to design a glowing necklace. Decorate your wooden pendant with markers and stickers, then light up the night with your one-of-a-kind creation! No experience needed, everyone is welcome. Recommended for ages 12+ to complete independently, or bring the whole family and work together!
Flashlight Tours
1pm – 2pm & 3pm–4pm, 3rd floor galleries
Grab your flashlight and join us for an after-hours nature walk. Discover the animals, plants, and landscapes woven into the intricate tapestries of artist Mary Anne Barkhouse. Together, we’ll explore how her artwork connects art and nature in meaningful ways, shining a light on the plants and animals that surround us.
