The Woebegones are hosting a special Facebook Livestream to celebrate Culture Days!
The Woebegones are a new musical duo out of Guelph, consisting of Jen Rafter on vocals and Aaron Way on guitar.
Rafter, who is best known for her role in Greg Denton's Probable Cause, has been happily singing backup for many years. After some coaxing from band members and friends, she’s taking the lead in this new collaboration. An old soul, her varied vocal repertoire mixes standards, covers and originals and is delivered with an authenticity and vulnerability that wakes your senses and eases your state at the same time.
Way, has always had an affinity for the guitar. Self-taught, he has lugged his collection of electric and acoustic guitars from Fredericton, to the Bahamas, to Calgary, to Brampton, and most recently, to his new home of Guelph. If you’re lucky, you may even hear him sing along.
