In this FREE adult workshop, learn the art of needle felting by stabbing wool to sculpt a fun mushroom. This workshop is meant for absolute beginners who want the guidance of an experienced fiber artist to help them along their needle felting journey. Students will learn various needle felting techniques. This workshop is being offered as part of Culture Days ON. Students must be 13 years and older. I'm asking for a donation of $10.00 to cover the cost of materials (or donate what you can - please note the materials cost me $10). You can bring your own OR make a donation on my online shop; use link below.

The supply pack kit includes wool for the project, 1 felting needle, a small clay pot, a skewer, and a small foam pad felting surface .

Woolly Doodles

Woolly Doodles owner Cathy Disbrow is a fibre artist and instructor who creates unique needle felted creations. She sculpts and paints her art by connecting wool fibers: whether it’s stabbing wool with a felting needle OR using hot water and agitation. She loves needle felting sculptures of various critters and creating wool 'paintings' by stabbing wool into a pre-felted sheet. Cathy is a needle felt instructor, offering workshops and classes in the GTHA and beyond.

Cathy's been an artist her entire life working in craft, digital art, and hand drawn illustrations. She loves needle felting so much that she started to teach it in 2016. She enjoys spreading the love of needle felting through DIY felting kits and in-person & online workshops.
