Title: Drum Circle Workshop

Drums have been used in every culture for many purposes from religious rituals and ceremonies, to sporting events, and as a way to communicate or signal. Drumming has also been used therapeutically since ancient times and provides a great workout for your brain: drumming stimulates both hemispheres of the brain to create whole mind activation.

Join in the drum circle at Collingwood Public Library in honour of Culture Days Ontario, all are welcome. This event is free to attend.

Date: Saturday September 28 @ 12:30pm

Title: Sound Healing Workshop

Sound Healing is the use of sound to create balance and alignment in the physical body, the energy centres called “chakras,” and the etheric fields. The sound may be applied by an instrument or by the human voice. Sound Healing is a vibrational therapy that can be understood as being energy medicine.

Come and participate in this vibrational healing through the playing of Ancient Sacred Instruments such as the Didgeridoo, Singing Bowls and the Human Voice. Through these instruments as well as sacred chants, these powerful vibrations can heal the body, mind and spirit through assisting in the alignment of our energy systems helping to quiet our busy mind and allowing us to drop into a space of transformed consciousness and improved wellbeing.

Join in the Sound Healing Workshop at Collingwood Public Library in honour of Culture Days Ontario, all are welcome. This event is free to attend.
